September 30, 2021 will mark the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a federal statutory holiday. The Palliser School Division will be observing this day as a non-operational day for the 2021-2022 school year.
As this day was declared a federal statutory holiday AFTER the KAHS yearly calendar was set, the 30th will still count as a day in the class rotation, and when students return to classes on Friday, October 1st, it will be "DAY 1" in the schedule.
